He has built a distinguished career in the telecommunications industry, where he successfully led large-scale infrastructure projects, network integration initiatives, managed services operations and network modernization programs. His achievements include significantly improving network availability and operational efficiency while delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Eng. Mbwana also served as an OSHA Consultant specializing in health, safety and regulatory compliance and has over six years of entrepreneurial involvement in the agribusiness sector. He currently serves as a Board Member of Tanzania Cashew Growers PLC, contributing to strategic governance and business growth initiatives.
He holds a Master of Science in IT and Management from Avinashillingham University, India and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology. He is also professionally certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Professional Engineer (PEng) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt practitioner.
